The Mojave Desert: Las Vegas

Coming back to Los Angeles has been an interesting experience.  I have managed to find some semblance of a new reality, but I must admit that I am currently stuck in limbo trying to establish a new path that will lead to my ultimate destination: Spain.  In the mean time, I have been visiting several locations that have single handedly changed my life.

The first stop has been and will continue to be Las Vegas.  I have been going there the most out of all my destinations, and I must say that it's one of my favorite places to go and enjoy my time.  In the daytime, I lay out by the pool, enjoy the views, and tan my life away.  I life to tan.  And I know that one day I might just get skin cancer, but I truly enjoy the company of the sun in my skin and would not change that feeling for the world.  Laying by the pool is boring by itself, but with a great cocktail, some great friends, an enjoyable book to read, and the warm sun, you can never go wrong.  I think the only thing missing would be a blunt and a hot guy just to keep the mood even better.  The pool at Aria is divine.  I don't like a lot of people and I truly enjoy the term "relaxation" so I prefer the quiet places over the hedonistic pool parties that take over the summer.

At night time, I like to go dancing with all my friends in the hopes that I may meet a frog to eat up for the rest of the night.  Now I know that frog will not turn into a prince because who the fuck would believe that in this age.  But I do like frog's legs and toad soup, so I'll take what I can get.  On my birthday, I went to Las Vegas and met some toads from Australia.  They took us on a fun night at Marquee, bought us a table, and danced the night away until 4am.  Then I went back to the hotel and  enjoyed the rest of the night with my new frogs.  You can never go wrong when you go to Las Vegas.

Even with that experience, my new thing is gambling.  I think that I am addicted to Roulette and it will be the only thing I play for a long time.  I just love putting my money on the table and thinking that the #24 will come up real soon...only on Sunday nights in the Harrah's (todo el mundo comadre) casino does my number come up.  So far I have lost more than I won, but Vegas is a winner no matter what!

PS: My numbers are: 4,7,17,20,24,27,30,35,36 (sometimes 23 and 26).

It's Been a Long A Time

I am back.  But I have another blog.  Find it if you must, but I will attempt to write again tomorrow.  It will be nice to share my trip to Mexico.
